Info Panel

The Info Panel gives information about the currently selected wallpaper or layout.

Wallpaper Information

The Info Panel displays some general information about a selected wallpaper. On the left you can find a thumbnail and the dimensions of the wallpaper. The dimensions of gradient wallpapers will always be 0 because they don't have a real size. On the right of the thumbnail you have the name of the wallpaper. By default only the filename is shown. On the right of the filename there are 3 buttons:

• When you click the first button, the full path of the wallpaper will be shown instead of only the filename part.
• The second button will copy the full path of the wallpaper to the clipboard.
• With the third button you can setup the rotation for the selected wallpaper(s).

Click the "Set As Wallpaper" link to render the selected wallpaper to the desktop.

The tags section allows you to change the tags for the selected wallpapers. You can select tags by clicking on the drop down arrow or by typing them. On the right you get a brief overview of the tags currently assigned to the selected wallpapers. Get more details about this section. (Not available in the Lite version)

Below the tags you can configure the following things for the selected wallpapers:

• Tiling: Change the tiling setting of this wallpaper. There are several tiling options available:
  • Center: The wallpaper will be centered without any scaling.
  • Default: The wallpaper will use the default tiling setting which you can change in the settings window.
  • Stretch: The wallpaper will be stretched and aspect ratio is kept into account.
  • Stretch (No aspect): The wallpaper will be stretch without keeping aspect ratio into account.
  • Stretch to Fill: The wallpaper is scaled to fill the entire screen while keeping the correct aspect ratio of the image. Depending on the aspect ratio of the monitor and of the wallpaper this will be either stretch to height or stretch to width.
  • Stretch to height: The wallpaper will be stretched so that the entire height of the wallpaper is visible.
  • Stretch to width: The wallpaper will be stretched so that the entire width of the wallpaper is visible.
  • Stretch when too big: The wallpaper will be stretched only when the wallpaper is too big. If the wallpaper is small enough it won't be scaled but will just be centered.
  • Tile: The wallpaper will be tiled.
• Background Color: Change the background that will be used for the desktop when this wallpaper is set. Learn more about the automatic setting.
• Text Color: Change the text color of the icons on the desktop when this wallpaper is set. Learn more about the automatic setting.
• Specify Effects...: When you click this button, a new window will appear allowing you to assign certain effects to this wallpaper. This can be used for example if your wallpaper is a bit too dark. In that case you could easily add a brightness correction effect to that wallpaper. You can also assign a mask effect to create a nice looking border around your wallpaper without using layouts. (Not available in the Lite version)
• Attach Application...: When you click this button, a new window will appear allowing you to assign certain applications to a wallpaper. These applications can either be executed whenever that wallpaper is shown on the desktop or when that wallpaper is removed from the desktop. Learn more about the possibilities of this feature.
• Auto Layout/Specify Layout...: Allows you to attach a certain layout or layout category to the selected wallpaper. You can use this to make sure that for a specific wallpaper a specific layout is used. Learn more about this. When a layout is linked to the selected wallpaper, either directly to the wallpaper, indirectly via a layout linked to the wallpaper category or a parent category or indirectly through tags, a small icon () will appear next to "Auto Layout". When you click this little icon you get an overview of all linked layouts to the selected wallpaper and from where they are being linked. (Not available in the Lite version)

Layout Information

For layouts, the Info Panel first displays the name of the layout.

The tags section allows you to change the tags for the selected layout. You can select tags by clicking on the drop down arrow or by typing them. On the right you get a brief overview of the tags currently assigned to the selected layout. Get more details about this section. (Not available in the Lite version)
